Startin Group | Covid -19 Update For Our Customers (Updated 02/11/2020)

02 November 2020

Covid-19 Update 2/11/2020

Dear Customers,

Following the government announcement on 31/10/2020 regarding the second lockdown from the 5/11/2020, we wanted to update you on how we aim to operate moving into the month of November. We will be fully open as normal until 5/11/2020.

From the 5/11/2020, our Service & Parts departments will operate as normal as they have been for many months in a safe manner (social distancing measures, appointment only system, protective screens at our service desks and cashless payments).

Our aim is to keep your cars to their routine service & MOT where applicable so that you have peace of mind that your car is in tip top condition moving into the winter months, where vehicle safety is paramount, given the harsher driving conditions.

This means our Aftersales will remain fully operational for servicing, MOT & repairs.

Sales showrooms will not be open to the public from the 5/11/2020 until further guidance is released, however our sales departments will remain open online for Van & Cars Sales where you can reserve vehicles online, run finance quotes, request valuations of your part exchange and request personalised videos of any car that you may be interested in purchasing.

We will offer a Click & Collect service as well as Home Delivery which will be handled in a Covid safe manner.

We are on hand to assist with all of your Sales & Aftersales enquiries via telephone or email.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during these trying times and we hope you are all staying safe.

MOT testing in England

From Thursday 5 November, the Government is introducing new national restrictions in England to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

What this means for MOT garages

MOT garages can remain open.

To help ensure MOT testing can be conducted safely, you can read our guidance for MOT testers about operating safely during coronavirus.

A vehicle needs to have a valid MOT if it is being used, except for the journey to a pre-booked MOT.

Thank you

Information on the new national restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus can be read on the Government website.

Thank you for continuing to follow COVID-secure testing procedures to help ensure the safety of the public, your staff and DVSA staff.
