Dave Pountney, Parts Manager at Startin Group, raises money for Birmingham Childrens Hospital

Last Friday 3rd March 2023, Runners from around the world united to run the annual 4x4x48 Challenge.

What is the 4x4x48 Challenge?

In simple terms, it's running 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. This is something not to be taken lightly as it is extremely mentally, and physically daunting. 

We are so proud of all of our staff at Startin Group and we try to support them in whichever way we can. David Pountney, Parts Manager, from Startin Group Worcester completed the 4x4x48 challenge. What an amazing achievement!🏆

David, Alex Cookson (with Ted), Anthony Edwards and Jamie Hawthorne all ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours, all to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity.

They were supported throughout the challenge by club members.
Birmingham Children's Hospital treats 90,000 sick children each year, so funds raised will make a huge difference to the lives of those poorly children and their families.
