Startin Group want you to know that buying a car in March 2020 is likely to save you money! It’ll be cheaper in March than April for most of our customers.

If you are looking at *Electric or Hybrid it will be less of an impact but for most it could save up to £750! Not to be sniffed at!

So, if you’re due your next car, or at least thinking about it, talk to your Startin Garage today.

Road tax is based on how much CO2 your vehicle emits. The more CO2 a car emits, the more you’ll pay. This will still be the case from April 2020. All road tax bands will remain the same (although they are increasing in cost slightly). New Car VED is increasing and for some models it’s a significant amount. Startin Group have calculated up to £750. A significant amount to save!

If you're thinking about buying a brand new car, your best option is to buy and register it before March 31 2020, otherwise you will end up paying more for it.

We would like you to benefit from this information, and we’d like you to get the very best deal on your part exchange. We’re always looking for good stock for our Approved Used forecourt so with this email, we will pay you an extra £300 for your car before 1st April 2020.

Simply get your car Valued on Autotrader and we’ll pay a further £300!

At the moment cars go through a test to see how much CO2 they emit and what mpg they'll get. That test is called the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). From April, all new cars will be tested via the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). This test is more stringent and designed to better reflect real-world output, meaning that the CO2 ratings of cars will increase.
