Meet The Newly Revised Peugeot 5008 SUV - On Sale At The End Of 2020

The new 7-seater Peugeot 5008 SUV revamps the modernity of its silhouette, with elegance and maturity, striking a perfect balance between power and refinement. With a new frameless radiator grille and the Peugeot brand identity signature vertically alighned daytime running lights, its front end appears perfectly integrated, sculptured and distinctive, with a new metallised fairing bumper and glossy black side scoops.

The dynamic and sporty stance of its raised body design is highlighted by the chrome insert that extends the line of the headlights to the rear spoiler, and enhanced by the new 19" San Francisco diamond-cut alloy wheels that add a final touch to its athletic muscular body.

Get behind the wheel of the modernised, innovative and ergonomic Peugeot i-Cockpit. Equipped with a compact steering wheel for improved handling and seven Toggle switches, the new Peugeot 5008 SUV is enhanced with a new 10 inch HD central touchscreen and the new 12.3 inch head-up digital instrument panel which is fully configurable and customisable to follow the main elements of your driving without taking your eyes off the road.

There's not many changes on the engine front and you’ll be able to get the New Peugeot 5008 SUV with the same range of petrol and diesel power units as the outgoing car.

The petrol engines on offer are a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 130hp that comes with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic, whilst there's also a more powerful 180hp 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that gets an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

There’s also a  couple of four-cylinder diesel engines for you to choose from, the  smallest being a 130hp 1.5-litre engine that comes with a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic. There’s also a more powerful 2.0-litre engine with 180hp that’s only available with an automatic gearbox.

On the road, the New Peugeot 5008 SUV offers many driving aids, such as the latest generation automatic emergency braking system or the extended road sign recognition. For peace of mind when driving in an urban setting, it also benefits from manoeuvring and parking aids featuring 360° visual parking aid and park assist.

You can also get it with an upgraded adaptive cruise control system that will maintain a safe distance to the car ahead, even in scenarios such as stop-start traffic. You’ll also be able to get the New Peugeot 5008 SUV with Lane Keep Assist, Traffic sign Recognition and Automatic Emergency Braking that works at up to 86mph to ensure you remain safe at all times.

On the occasions you need to able to handle all conditions,  the New Peugeot 5008 SUV comes with Advanced Grip Control technology that can adapt the grip capacities to weather all road conditions and surfaces, whilst on steep slopes, the Hill Assist Descent Control  function helps control your speed.

For optimised response at night or with reduced visibility, the New Peugeot 5008 SUV will come with the option of a night-vision system for the first time. This uses a forward-facing infrared camera to help detect cyclists, pedestrians and large animals up to 200 metres away and display them on the digital instrument panel.
