IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THIS NEWS 

 

Dear Customer

As the outbreak of Covid-19 develops we will all need to accommodate each other and allay any concerns you may have. I want to take the opportunity to make you aware that we have your best interests at heart and have put measures in place so that no matter what your personal situation is, Startin Group's priority is as always customer's first.  We will do our absolute best to provide you a service that suits your circumstance and keeps you safe.

Below is some advice specific to the department you may wish to deal with.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing. Place tissues in the bin after use.
  • Wash your hands at regular intervals, including the wrists.
  • If you have recently visited an infected area, or have been in recent close contact with someone who is self-isolating, please consider postponing your visit. Our customer service and sales teams are keen to help you as much as possible over the phone, or via email so please do use these methods of communication if an in-person visit isn’t possible.

Sales Department 

If you are looking at a new or used car talk to us.  We're happy to discuss all elements over the phone or email and so long as you have no symptoms but are uneasy about venturing out for what ever reason we will bring cars to you for test drives.  If you want to place a securing deposit and carry on once the dust settles we can also do that.  If you are expecting to take delivery of your new car, we will be in touch and work out an amenable solution for you.  Above all don't worry.

Service Department 

If you have a car service or Mot scheduled with us simply get in touch if you have any concerns . We will endeavour to carry out the work as normal.  If you are symptom free and are happy to carry on as normal we will be open until guidelines say differently . If you have self isolated but aren't showing any symptoms we are happy to *collect and deliver your vehicle from home rather than postpone an MOT or service. We would prefer you kept the car warranty in check, service schedule on track and Mot valid for when things return to normal. 

We have put together a Car Sanitise Service which we would highly recommend you consider. It's only £14.95 and will help.  

We want to do our part for the NHS,  Bluelight (emergency service) Members and “Key Workers” for their continued efforts to help us in this time of crisis.

To show our appreciation we want to give you all a free car sanitisation with a Service or Mot. We will even give you 15% off all servicing, *repairs and MOTs that your car needs in the coming months. We offer **any make servicing at all our Startin Group garages

Parts Department 

We will be operating as normal to keep the Service Department operating as smoothly as possible. We are governed by the supply chain and monitoring that on a daily basis. Our trade deliveries are still scheduled as normal. If you are expecting a delivery but your business is closed or you are affected by Covid-19 simply let us know.

*When we collect and deliver your car the key exchange may take place through your letterbox or the car can be left with the keys in side. We will operate a system that suits you.  If you are running low on an essential let us know.  If we can bring that for you we shall. We would like to make sure you are safe and well during this unusual time.
