We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Workshop Controller to lead our thriving workshop and highly skilled team of Vehicle Technicians.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for an already successful workshop, using your leadership, organisation and technical knowledge to build on its strengths and drive performance forward.

Reporting to the After Sales Manager, you'll be at the heart of the workshop operation, ensuring work flows efficiently, technicians are supported and our high standards of quality and customer service are maintained.

The Role

Plan, control and allocate the daily workshop workload.
Lead, support and motivate an experienced team of technicians.
Maximise workshop productivity and efficiency.
Monitor work in progress and proactively manage delays or changing priorities.
Provide technical support and guidance where required.
Work closely with Service Advisors and the After Sales Manager.
Maintain excellent quality standards and a strong right-first-time approach.
Support the ongoing development and performance of the workshop team.
Ensure manufacturer, company and Health & Safety standards are maintained.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

Previous Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Technician experience.
Strong automotive technical knowledge.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
The confidence to lead and motivate an experienced technical team.
A strong understanding of workshop productivity and efficiency.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
A full UK driving licence.
