Startin Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and professional MOT Tester to join our busy and successful Aftersales team at Startin Kia Warwick.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and customer service.

The Role

Carry out MOT tests efficiently and accurately in accordance with DVSA standards.
Identify and report vehicle defects, safety concerns and advisory items.
Complete vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs where required.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
Maintain accurate MOT records and follow manufacturer and dealership processes.
Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Support workshop productivity and efficiency while maintaining a strong right-first-time approach.
Keep up to date with MOT regulations, manufacturer standards and evolving vehicle technology.

About You

You'll ideally have:

Current MOT Tester accreditation with the appropriate DVSA authorisation to test.
A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
Previous experience within an automotive workshop or franchised dealership.
Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
Previous Vehicle Technician experience would be advantageous.
A professional, reliable and quality-focused approach.
The ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
A full UK driving licence.
