BYD Becomes the UK’s Largest Electric Vehicle Brand*

BYD has become the UK’s best-selling electric vehicle brand in 2026 so far, marking a major milestone for one of the fastest-growing names in electric mobility.

According to BYD, based on SMMT data from January to April 2026, the brand sold 12,754 fully electric cars, giving it more than 7% share of the UK electric vehicle market. BYD also became the most popular electric vehicle brand among private buyers.

If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
