Peugeot’s Electric Range Explained – What It Means for Drivers in 2026

Date Posted: 29 March 2026

Peugeot’s move into electric isn’t coming. It’s already here.

At Startin Peugeot, we’re seeing a clear shift. More customers are moving towards electric, and Peugeot now offers a range that genuinely fits everyday UK driving.

The latest models aren’t just efficient. They’re practical, long-range and designed to work in real life.

A New Generation of Electric Peugeot Models

The biggest change comes from Peugeot’s latest electric platform, now used across models like the E-3008 and E-5008.

These aren’t small city EVs. They’re full family vehicles.

The Peugeot E-3008 offers up to around 435 miles of range depending on the version, making it one of the longest-range electric SUVs in its class.

The larger E-5008 builds on that with up to seven seats and a range of up to around 410 miles in long-range versions, giving families a genuine electric alternative to traditional SUVs.

This is where Peugeot is changing perception. Electric cars are no longer a compromise.

Designed for Real-World Driving

One of the biggest concerns around electric vehicles is usability.

Peugeot’s latest range is designed to remove that.

You get:

Fast charging capability, with around 20–80% possible in roughly 30 minutes on rapid chargers
Long-range options that comfortably cover daily driving and longer trips
Smooth, quiet driving with instant electric torque

For most drivers, this means less time worrying about range and more time just driving.

Technology That Feels Like a Step Forward

Inside, Peugeot’s latest models introduce a more advanced version of the i-Cockpit.

Large panoramic displays, improved connectivity and over-the-air updates bring the driving experience closer to what customers expect from modern tech.

It’s not just about electrification. It’s about making the car feel more intuitive and easier to live with.

Lower Running Costs, Simpler Ownership

Electric Peugeot models also change the ownership experience.

With fewer moving parts than petrol or diesel engines, maintenance is simpler. Charging at home can significantly reduce running costs compared to fuel.

For many customers at Startin Peugeot, this is one of the biggest reasons for making the switch.

Why It Matters at Startin Peugeot

The key difference with Peugeot’s electric range is how usable it is.

You’re not choosing between practicality and efficiency. You’re getting both.

From the E-3008 to the E-5008, these are cars designed for families, commuters and long-distance drivers alike.

Peugeot’s electric push isn’t about future promises. It’s about what’s available right now.

Longer range, better technology and real-world usability mean electric is no longer a step into the unknown.

It’s simply the next step forward.

Automotive Compliance Ltd's permissions as a Principal Firm allows Startin Group Ltd, Thomas Startin Junr Ltd to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow.
