Škoda Adds AirConsole, Spotify and New Safety Tech to Its Electric Models

Škoda has introduced major infotainment and safety upgrades to its all-electric Enyaq and Elroq models, bringing new entertainment features and enhanced driver support technology.

These updates apply to Enyaq models running software 4.0 and higher, as well as Elroq models.

AirConsole Gaming Platform

Škoda has added the AirConsole gaming platform, bringing 15 games to the infotainment system — including a Škoda-exclusive version of Tetris®.

When the vehicle is parked, the central display becomes a gaming screen, while a smartphone acts as the controller. This provides interactive entertainment during charging breaks.

Škoda Play Video Service

Škoda Play introduces structured news and learning content from authorised partners including Euronews, NASA+, CNN, Reuters and Bloomberg.

Video playback is available when the vehicle is parked, making charging stops more engaging and informative.

Native Spotify Integration

Spotify is now integrated directly into the infotainment system. Drivers can log in to their accounts and stream music and podcasts using the vehicle’s data connection — without pairing a smartphone.

Emergency Vehicle Approaching Alert

Through the Traffication application, Škoda has introduced an Emergency Vehicle Approaching alert. Real-time data is processed via Safety Cloud®, providing on-screen notifications showing distance and direction of approaching emergency vehicles.

This feature is already active in the UK and enhances road awareness and safety.

Enhanced AI Route Planning

The MyŠkoda app now offers improved AI-supported route planning, allowing drivers to:

• Select charging stops near specific locations
• Limit charging to Powerpass stations
• Set a minimum battery level on arrival

These updates improve convenience, safety and in-car entertainment — particularly during longer EV journeys.
