Startin Group 2025 Review & 2026 Outlook – Growth, New Brands and What’s Next

Date Posted: 11 January 2026

2025 at Startin Group – A Year of Growth, Change and Opportunity

As we approach the end of 2025, it’s a natural moment to reflect on what has been a defining year for Startin Group. Across the Midlands, the motor industry has continued to navigate change - but the tone has shifted. Stabilising interest rates, improved supply chains and renewed confidence have created a more balanced market, with customers better informed and clearer about their options.

On the ground, this has translated into stronger enquiry levels, growing interest in flexible ownership models such as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), and continued demand across new, used, fleet and electric vehicles. Against this backdrop, 2025 has been one of the most transformative years in Startin Group’s recent history.

THE NEW GOVERNMENT BUDGET

Earlier this year we shared our thoughts on the Government Budget and why, despite some of the headlines, it created genuine opportunity for motorists and business owners alike.

  • Continued incentives and tax efficiency for electric and low-emission vehicles
  • Improved affordability through stabilising finance rates
  • Strong support for company car and fleet users

Startin Group – A Year of Strategic Expansion

2025 has been one of the most transformative years in Startin Group’s recent history.

2025 has been a year of growth and investment for Startin Group, with Nissan joining our Škoda Worcester site, BYD replacing Suzuki in Redditch (with Suzuki Worcester still on hand to support our Suzuki customers) and Ducati set to join in early 2026 as we expand into Nottingham. Kia Redditch has has a massive facelift, as we develop our Kia PBV Centre, and introduced a centralised Fleet Hub, with dedicated specialists.

Used car values remained strong, supporting attractive part exchanges, while fleet and new car demand continued to grow as availability improved. Customers increasingly explored flexible ownership options, including PCH for its simplicity and predictable monthly costs.

Our Fleet and Trade Parts business grew 36% year-on-year, supported by linking our Redditch and Worcester operations. Teams were also nationally recognised, with Kia Warwick ranked 1st for Customer Service and our Renault dealership finishing Top 10.

Highlights include Honda’s new 0 Series and Super-N electric models, designed for practical, real-world driving, and the next-generation electric Nissan Juke, combining familiar design with improved technology.

Performance and efficiency also feature strongly, with the Peugeot E-208 GTi bringing hot-hatch character into the electric era. More accessible options arrive with the Dacia Sandero Stepway Hybrid and Renault Twingo E-Tech, while Škoda’s upcoming Epiq and Suzuki’s latest hybrid SUV expand choice in the compact and family SUV segments.

Finance Disclosure

Startin Group Ltd and Thomas Startin Junr Ltd are Appointed Representatives of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd's permissions as a Principal Firm allows Startin Group Ltd, Thomas Startin Junr Ltd to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required
