Startin Group Joins Forces with Worcester Animal Rescue Shelter in a Paw-some Partnership

We at Startin Group are excited to announce its new partnership with Worcester Animal Rescue Shelter. As a company committed to giving back to our community, we believe in the importance of supporting local organizations that contribute to the well-being of animals in need. 

Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) opens its doors to abandoned, unwanted and mistreated animals in need of urgent care. With the main aim to give shelter, medical treatment and care, and, of course, to re-home cats, dogs and ex-battery hens

The shelter runs a small shop, of heavily discounted items of pet food and pet care products, & relies solely on fundraising to support and continue their vital work, they receive no government funding and raise money through sponsorships, memberships, legacies & grants, and events such as coffee mornings, dogs shows & family fun days.

They are busier than they have ever been with people needing to relinquish pets, and every single penny raised for WARS will go into helping more animals.

Where we will be in attendance, in order to help the shelter raise money to enable them to continue to support animals in need. The Fun Dog Show will be at the Shelter (Hawthorn Lane, Malvern), on September 3rd, 2023, from 10:30am to 3pm! 

Join us there, where there will be an array of stands and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Including; 

• Refreshments to include a BBQ, Tea, Coffee and Cake Stall.

• Raffle prizes, main prize still to be confirmed, but the usual champagne, Gift sets etc, and our onsite groomer has kindly donated a grooming session.

• Tombola, Bric-a-Brac , books and gardening stall.

• Other charities attending include, the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue, Trail-hound Welfare, The Wildlife Trust and West Mercia Retired Police Dog Welfare.

• The Malvern Strummers and singers (a group of up to 18 people) will be singing.

• Then will have other local people, offering Doggy accessories/apparel, and treats, and craft stalls.

• Gene Preece, a local painter and artist will also be present.

There will be music throughout the day, and of course the Dog Show of which judging commences at 11:30am, this should go on until around 3pm, although it has been known to go on for longer! 

It's a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy.
