Startin Group Strengthens Fleet Operations with Redditch Fleet Hub and Local Authority Partnership

Startin Group continues to expand its fleet capability with the development of its dedicated Fleet Hub in Redditch and a major vehicle supply agreement with Redditch Borough Council.

Located on Bartleet Road at the former Arrow Motor Auctions site, the new Startin Fleet Hub provides over 14,000 sq ft of operational space alongside a secure compound capable of holding more than 350 vehicles. The facility has been designed to streamline vehicle preparation, logistics and delivery for business and public sector fleets, helping reduce lead times and improve quality control.

The hub already supports large-scale fleet programmes, including a £1.9 million contract with Redditch Borough Council to supply 60 new commercial vehicles for its housing property services teams. The fleet includes a mix of Vauxhall Combo, Vivaro and Movano vans, as well as specialist vehicles such as tipper trucks, dropsides and cage vans used by frontline maintenance teams supporting more than 5,500 homes across the borough.

Initial vehicles have already been delivered, with further deliveries scheduled as part of the council’s phased fleet replacement programme. The partnership reflects the council’s commitment to supporting local businesses while improving reliability and efficiency for essential services.
