Cold weather and using your lights, heaters, and wipers more can strain your battery. A car battery typically lasts about five years, and a cold spell can end it if it's nearing the end of its life.

Check the condition of your tires for cracks and uneven wear. Also, check the tread depth, which should be at least 1.6 mm on 75% of the contact surface.

Make sure your brakes are in good condition, especially if you're concerned about the ABS. Worn out or faulty brakes are dangerous to drive with in winter

But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
