Startin Group Supporting St. Richards Hospice

We helped take the hassle out of our local communities post-festive clear-up and support St Richard’s Hospice at the same time in a special Christmas tree recycling scheme.

It's the seventh year, that St Richard’s Hospice Christmas Tree Collection took place on Sunday, January 8 and Monday, January 9 2023.

St Richard’s Hospice is working in partnership with teams of volunteers who will be collecting trees around the county.

We at Startin Group were proud to offer the use of one of our vans in order to help with the local collections throughout the WR2 and WR10 areas.

Ria Simons, Fundraiser at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “Our Christmas tree collection campaign is back and better than ever, as for the first time we will be collecting from all WR postcodes.

“Last year’s campaign raised a fantastic £47,500 – a huge help towards funding our services to patients, their loved ones, and bereaved people across the county.

“We couldn’t achieve this without the generous support of our team of volunteers, and community, who together make this campaign such a success.”

St Richard’s is asking people to make a donation for recycling the tree to support the independent charity’s free care and support of those living with a life-limiting illness.
