Renault Master E-Tech Wins International Van of the Year 2024

Renault’s all-electric New Master E-Tech has been awarded the prestigious title of International Van of the Year 2024!

A remarkable achievement that highlights the brand’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric design. The award ceremony, held on 16 September at the IAA Transportation event in Hannover, celebrated the New Master’s exceptional features that set it apart from competitors. A panel of expert judges, representing 25 European countries, unanimously selected the New Renault Master E-Tech for this accolade.

Award-Winning Innovation and Technology

The judges praised the New Renault Master E-Tech for its completely revamped design, cutting-edge technology, and notable advancements in aerodynamics. These updates reflect Renault’s forward-thinking approach to commercial vehicles, creating a van that not only performs reliably but is also environmentally friendly. This is the fifth time Renault has received this prestigious award, following accolades for models such as the Master II in 1998, Trafic II in 2002, Kangoo Z.E. in 2012, and Kangoo Van III in 2022.

A Van for Every Need

The New Renault Master offers a range of configurations to meet diverse customer requirements. Available in both diesel and electric variants, the van can be customised to support nearly any business need. Diesel options range from 105 to 170 bhp, while the electric models come with either 96 kW or 105 kW motors, supported by battery capacities of 40 or 87 kWh. Notably, the larger battery offers an impressive range of over 460 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, making it an ideal choice for longer journeys. Additionally, Renault has introduced a hydrogen-powered version for customers seeking a zero-emission option with extended range capabilities.

Unmatched Versatility and Payload Capacity

One of the New Master’s greatest strengths lies in its flexibility. With over 40 different body configurations and seemingly limitless conversion possibilities, this van can be tailored to nearly any operational requirement. The vehicle supports payloads of up to 2 tonnes on front-wheel drive models and offers an interior cargo space between 11 and 22 cubic metres, depending on the wheel drive configuration. In terms of accessibility and loading capacity, the New Master leads its class with an optimised opening width and cargo area length.

Comfort-Driven Interior

Renault has redesigned the cabin with comfort and convenience in mind, offering a range of seating options, including suspended, swivelling, and individual seats. The van also features three different bench types and multiple fabric options, enhancing driver and passenger comfort. The cabin storage capacity has been expanded by 25%, now offering up to 135 litres of storage space, making it a practical choice for professionals who need easy access to tools and equipment.
