Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric is here!

01 February 2024

Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric is here!

We’ve changed everything but the name.

Renault Scenic, our all electric family car is launching in March next year, but orders will be opening mid-December.

The old, traditionally-fuelled Scenic was discontinued back in 2019 while the larger Grand Scenic MPV was also dropped from Renault’s range a year later in 2020.

But the popular people carrier is about to make a welcome return to the leasing market thanks to this Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric.

Orders open now.

This is the all-new Renault Scenic E-Tech, an electric family SUV with over 379 miles of range.

The new Renault Scenic E-Tech looks a lot like the Renault Vision Scenic concept from last year, so it’s a pretty bold-looking SUV. The slim headlights are neatly blended into a gloss black trim strip across the bonnet, and you have some angular LED running lights integrated into a panel below that. There’s no prominent grille at the front.

It has a slightly more boxy side profile than the smaller Megane E-Tech, something which should help with rear headroom. The 20-inch alloy wheels have been designed to slip through the air as easily as possible, and the flush-fitting door handles further help the aerodynamics.

Six appealing body colours will be available: Flame Red, Midnight Blue, Diamond Black, Shadow Grey Glossy, matte Shadow Grey (exclusive to the esprit Alpine trim) and Pearl White. Depending on the trim, the roof and door pillars can be finished in contrasting Diamond Black or Shadow Grey.

In 1996, Scenic was a new object that reinvented the rules and modernised family cars. All-new Scenic E-Tech electric follows this path. It’s an all-rounder electric car, designed with sustainability at the core, capable of travelling long distances. It offers outstanding interior space while remaining compact, brightness, comfort and state-of-the-art connectivity.

Fabrice Cambolive, CEO, Renault brand

The Scenic will have an E-Tech 100% electric powertrain that features a compact 87kWh battery and a 160kW (220hp) motor, capable of delivering a 379-mile driving range¹ (pending WLTP certification). Making the Scenic very agile, lively and right for every drive.

Inside, it is comfortable for all its passengers. Its flat roof and 2.78-metre-long wheelbase make it spacious. So, there is plenty of room for passengers (including a 278 mm knee radius at the back) and for luggage (in its 545L boot space).

The trailblazing Solarbay opacifying glass roof and Ingenious rear armrest complete the full range of comfort-enhancing amenities dedicated to connectivity.

Behind the wheel you are met with two 774 cmopenR screens, OpenR Link multimedia system comes with Google built-in2 and more than 50 apps3 so you can plan your journey effortlessly and enjoy it with everyone travelling with you. Its signature sound sequence is in a class by itself – the result of an extraordinary team endeavour with composer Jean-Michel Jarre.

And the All-new Scenic E-Tech electric will be the first electric vehicle in Renault’s line-up to include the Esprit Alpine trim, which adds an exhilarating sporty edge.
