Vauxhall Reveals a New Logo for 2026: The Griffin Evolves Again

Date Posted: 29 September 2026

New look. Same Griffin. More than 100 years of Vauxhall heritage.

Vauxhall has revealed a fresh new logo for 2026, giving its famous Griffin a cleaner, more modern look while keeping the identity that has represented the brand for generations. The new design introduces a simplified Griffin, paired with a more refined and spacious Vauxhall wordmark. It feels sharper, more contemporary and perfectly suited to the direction Vauxhall is heading.

It may look different, but the heritage behind it remains the same.

Same iconic Griffin, fresh new look

The Griffin has been at the heart of Vauxhall for more than 100 years, evolving alongside the cars themselves. Over time, the badge has moved from a detailed traditional emblem, through chrome and three dimensional designs, to the flatter red logo introduced in 2020.

Now, in 2026, Vauxhall has simplified the design even further. The latest version is cleaner, bolder and more contemporary, creating an identity that works just as effectively across vehicles, dealerships and digital platforms. Despite the changes, the Griffin remains instantly recognisable – keeping that strong connection to Vauxhall’s history.

A modern identity for a modern range

The new badge feels perfectly suited to today’s Vauxhall range.
From the stylish Corsa and bold Mokka, to the practical Astra, Frontera and Grandland,
Vauxhall continues to combine distinctive design, everyday usability and modern technology.
There is also more choice than ever when it comes to electrification, with electric and electrified
options continuing to grow across the range.
Just as the cars continue to move forward, the refreshed Griffin gives Vauxhall a modern identity to
match.

More than a century of history

The latest Vauxhall logo is a great example of how a historic brand can continue to evolve without forgetting where it came from.

From the detailed heraldic Griffin of the early twentieth century to the clean new emblem revealed in 2026, every version has reflected the Vauxhall of its time. While the styling has changed significantly over the years, the Griffin itself has remained at the centre of the brand.

And with new models, electrified technology and exciting future designs continuing to emerge, this latest evolution feels like a fitting new chapter.

New look. Same Griffin.

The design may have changed, but the iconic Griffin remains unmistakably Vauxhall. More than 100 years of Vauxhall heritage. Discover the latest Vauxhall models today at Startin Vauxhall and see the next generation of Vauxhall design for yourself

Startin Group Ltd and Thomas Startin Junr Ltd are Appointed Representatives of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd's permissions as a Principal Firm allows Startin Group Ltd, Thomas Startin Junr Ltd to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
